Namaste!

I have done my yoga this week so I am proud of myself for that. I worked quite a bit on my dancer pose and my back does hurt now but that is ok.

I did more yoga in my hotel room in Bozeman and in the gym there. I also tried to teach some poses, which did not work quite as well as I wanted it to.  I have noticed that some people don't know how hard some of the poses actually are until they try it. Once people do some yoga, I think they can see why I want to give up quite often.

My dancer pose has gotten a little better this past week. I have been doing my splits up the wall. I have used a chair to push my chest up to about half way where I wanted it to be. I am not mad at my progress since my back has been sore and I have been more focused on touching my toes.

I CAN TOUCH MY TOES!! It hurts, but I can do it. When I was a young kid in gymnastics, I think I just decided that I couldn't do it so I never tried. It is so weird stretching with kids and being able to actually do my pike stretch effectively.

Moving forward, I think yoga will be much more enjoyable if I don't have to treat it like a chore. It will just be something that I can do if I want to do it and I think that will be very beneficial for me.
